This 1988 LX Convertible came to us needing a lot of TLC. Someone had started a restoration then lost interest. Being a ragtop makes it especially worthy of a make-over.
Of the 211,225 Mustangs built in 1988, 32,314 were convertibles. With many of those being GTs, numbers for the LX are even smaller. The convertible top is in very good condition. The power windows ned a little attention. Massaging the sheet metal back in place, a bit of tinkering under the hood, and we will have a cool daily driver that turns heads! Adding the spoiler on the rear, and new lighting all around add a little sparkle. New wheels and tires are on the way! |
