We received the hood and fenders of this '68 Chevelle first before getting the rest of the car. We repaired rust and wrinkles, coated the pieces with primer, and returned them to the customer. He reinstalled them himself.       After receiving the complete car back, we stripped the paint from the doors and the rest of the body. We discovered that the doors were in fairly good condition, but that both rear quarter panels were in very bad shape due to rust and previous body work. They will be replaced with 100% repair panels.       More updates as the project continues...

UPDATE       We have now received the Chevelle back into the shop. Both rear quarter panels have come in and are being fitted.       It will soon be ready to begin splashing some red paint!

UPDATE       Upper Left: The Chevelle has a fresh, smooth coat of primer.       Lower Left: The hood and rear deck are painted black where the stripes will be.       Upper Right: The stripes are masked off.       Lower Right: The car is painted red and the masking removed.       These stripes were not available for the '68. A 1970 stripe kit was used, and required a little tweaking to make it all work.

Now the Chevelle is a Trophy Winner!
