After the sale, the new owner asked us to take care of some of the rust issues. First up was the rear quarter panels. The right side had minor collision damage. Both were stripped to bare metal, damage repaired, and sealed and primered. Next up was replacing the floors, front and rear, both sides, including new seat risers. Typical rust around the battery box had to be repaired, including a new front apron on that side. The new owner wanted the car tubbed out to accommodate some meatier rear tires. With help from Mick at Future Fabrications Inc., we were able to install mini-tubs, that will get the job done without any radical butchering of the Mustang. The top and the front fenders were sandblasted to remove surface rust. |
